Neighboring 205 E. 42nd, Coastal was contracted to perform façade repairs, with a majority of the project focused on the East façade of the property. Coastal installed their own outrigger scaffold systems to install helical ties on the East elevation in its entirety. Following the installation of the helical ties, Coastal removed up to 9 courses of brick, spanning the entire elevation, at each floor to restore and waterproof the existing relieving angles.
